Grizzlies set to hit the road with 2013 Regional Caravan Tour

MEMPHIS, September 5, 2013–The Grizzlies are set to hit the road with their 2013 Regional Caravan tour beginning Monday, Sept. 9 and continuing throughout the month of September with five scheduled stops. The caravan will travel throughout the Mid-South region, including Nashville (TN), St. Louis (MO), Jackson (MS), Jackson (TN) and Little Rock (AR) during the month at local attractions and events to get Grizz Nation excited about the upcoming season.

Grizzlies’ guard Quincy Pondexter, team mascot Grizz, members of the Grizz Girls and the Claw Crew will all participate in the regional caravan and invite Grizzlies’ fans of all ages to join them as they near the tip-off of the 2013-14 season. Fans attending these events will have the chance to get autographs, photo opportunities and participate in contests and games with the team’s personalities.

In addition, the Grizzlies have partnered with the Memphis Convention and Visitors Bureau to offer fans at each regional stop some amazing prizes. Fans will have the opportunity to win a “Weekend to Memphis Getaway Package” for two at each of these caravan stops by signing up for Grizzlies E-News. The package includes a two night hotel stay, tickets to a Grizzlies game, Grizzlies swag, $50 gift certificate to a downtown restaurant, a round of golf at Justin Timberlake’s Mirimichi, tickets to Graceland, the Memphis Rock ‘n’ Soul Museum, Sun Studio and to the Stax Museum of American Soul Music. The package will also include Beale Street wristbands.
