Robert Bryson
Robert Moon Bryson, 84, of Chattanooga, died on Saturday, November 27, 2010.
A native of Sewanee, Tn., he grew up in the St. Elmo community of Chattanooga.
After serving in the Navy during World War II, he became a representative for William H. Rorer Pharmaceutical Company. After retiring from Rorer, he became a real estate agent with Gloria Sutton Realty.
A member of Covenant Life Worship Center of Chickamauga, Ga., he was also a member of Brainerd Optimist Club for 22 years and was a past lieutenant governor for Tennessee Optimists.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Judith Rominger Bryson; parents, Arthur William Bryson and Olivia Coutta Bryson; brother, James Cutts Bryson.
Surviving are two daughters, Sabrina (Ken) Allison of Lexington, Ky., and Belinda (Dick) Storie of Spring Hill, Tn.; stepdaughter, Lori Smyth Campbell of Aurora, Co.; stepson, Greg (Lynn) Smyth of Lookout Mountain, Ga.; seven grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 1, in the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home, with the Rev. James Chant officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11 a.m.-12:45 p.m.
