MOORHEAD - CATS Cradle Shelter has scheduled its third annual "Rock the Cradle" fundraiser Feb. 27 at The Garage Bar here.
The event will feature stand-up comedians, a silent auction and door prizes. Forum reporter/WDAY-TV anchor Robin Huebner will emcee the event for the third consecutive year.
Doors open at 6, and comedian Isaac Witty, who has appeared on Comedy Central and the "Late Show With David Letterman," starts the show at 7:30. Adrian Cosby of Yellow Springs, Ohio, and Mark Nusbaum of Minneapolis will also perform.
The comedians are part of a team called "Raise the Woof," which raises money for animal rescue groups and shelters across the country by donating ticket sale profits. For more information, visit www.woofraise.com .
Tickets cost $20 and can be reserved by calling the shelter at (701) 356-7877. They can also be purchased at the shelter, 9 9th St. S. in Fargo, or at the door the night of the event.

CATS Cradle Shelter is funded solely by donations and online contest winnings. In addition to rescuing and placing cats up for adoption, the organization works to educate the public and prevent abuse, neglect and cruelty to animals.
