Coronavirus In Geneva: 9 Confirmed Cases

KANE COUNTY, IL — The number of new coronavirus cases continue to rise in Kane County and across the state with nine total confirmed cases reported as of Thursday in Geneva. Throughout the county, there have been 155 confirmed cases and eight deaths, health officials said late Thursday afternoon.

Here is a look at how many confirmed cases are being report in towns across the county:

  • Aurora: 39

  • Elgin: 28

  • St. Charles: 22

  • Geneva: 9

  • South Elgin: 7

  • Gilberts: 6

  • North Aurora: 6

  • Batavia: 5

Throughout the state, 7,600 have tested positive for the new coronavirus and 176 have died, state officials announced Thursday afternoon. In the past 24 hours, there have been 715 new coronavirus cases reported in Illinois.
