BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ — Burlington County is now at high risk of coronavirus transmission, according to the state's latest COVID-19 activity report, which is issued weekly.

The most recent report, released Thursday, says Burlington County is in the "orange zone," meaning the county has a rate of 10 to 25 cases per 100,000 people.

Schools in counties with high transmission rates would have to take more serious steps — such as quarantining or even shutting down schools — if a child shows the symptoms of COVID-19.
