Razer Introduces Low-Profile Deathstalker V2 Pro Keyboard With Upgraded Optical Switches
Elevating a design beloved by its fans, Razer has now introduced the Deathstalker V2 Pro, offering a low-profile keyboard with enhanced optical switches to give you just that extra edge over your rivals in-game. Adopting a significantly more minimalistic design language over its predecessor, the new model manages to retain the low-profile feel that users are familiar with, but upgrades the entire experience with the all-new Razer Low-Profile Optical Switches to offer high-speed actuation.
The switches are available in both Linear and Clicky options, with the former boasting an actuation point of a mere 1.2mm and a total travel of 2.8mm under 45 grams of actuation force, while the latter offers an actuation point of 1.5mm, the same full travel of 2.8mm, and just a slightly higher actuation force of 50 grams. Switches aside, the new keyboard has also been updated with laser-etched keycaps featuring what Razer calls an "ultra-durable coating" that can outlast doubleshot PBT models as well as a 5052 aluminum alloy top-plate for a nice, sleek look. The keys themselves also sit lower on the keyboard baseplate to enable a more natural hand and wrist position, meaning you're less likely to feel fatigued after long hours of usage.
Now available over on Razer's website, the Deathstalker V2 Pro is going for $250 USD.
