Main Street Book Club comes together in Biloxi

Born out of a desire to unite the community while also supporting small businesses, the Main Street Book Club was formed.

The Book Club was started two years ago connecting great books and people together. They typically meet the fourth Thursday of every month at a variety of locations in downtown Biloxi.

They read books from a wide range of authors, although they try to focus on the locals. Laurie Rosetti with Biloxi Main Street said, “Our doors are always open. You can join at any moment, just come in and listen and decide if you want to keep coming. We announce each book, even several books, in advance.”

Tomorrow will be the club’s Christmas party at Southern Bound Book Store on Howard Avenue. Members will be bringing books to swap and items for Backpack Buddies.

If you’re interested in joining the club, call Biloxi Main Street at 228-435-6339.
