Fender offers free online guitar lessons to pass the time in quarantine: Here's how to secure a spot

Guitar giant Fender is offering a special deal to inspire music lovers during the coronavirus quarantine: three months of free online lessons.

The first 100,000 users who sign up for the Fender Play service will receive 3 months of free online guitar (acoustic or electric), bass and ukulele lessons, the instrument manufacturer announced over the weekend.

"With everything happening in the world, music has the power to connect us," reads an announcement on the company's website. "We want to do our part to see you through – the way we know how. ... We’re all going to be spending more time inside – so we might as well make some noise."
