Arthur “Ottie” Lee, 88, of Charles Town, WV, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2020, at his home.
Born Wednesday, February 24, 1932, in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Daniel Lee and the late Marie (Taylor) Lee.
He was employed as a truck driver, transporting livestock for many years and was later employed with NAPA Auto Parts, retiring in 2020.
Ottie enjoyed walking and swimming several times a week and also enjoyed going to Charles Town Races.
He is survived by his daughter, Antoinette Anderson and husband, John, of Parkville, MD; grandson, Antoine Watson of Baltimore, MD; sister, Connie Armstrong of Hagerstown; three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brother, Randolph Wells; brother, John Lee; sister, Katherine Keets; brother, Daniel Lee; brother, Jim Lee; sister, Mildred Lee; and sister, Nina Harris.
Services will be held Saturday, September 19, 2020, at 11 a.m. at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, with Elder Tracey Brown officiating.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, September 19, 2020, from 10 to 11 a.m.
Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hagerstown.
