Live updates and tweets from the Bossier City Donald Trump rally: Crowds, speeches, more
Classic rock tunes are playing overhead as seats are filling up inside CenturyLink Arena.
Those in attendance are draped in sparkling flags, eagles and President-Donald Trump related merchandise. The occasional “woo” and whistle breaks through the background music, but otherwise the collective group is sitting patiently.

Calvary Baptist Academy senior Devin Strange arrived at the CenturyLink Center Thursday afternoon with a weightier agenda for seeing and hearing President Donald Trump than others in the gathering of thousands waiting to hear him.
“I just turned 18 so I will be voting for the first time this year, so I’m extremely excited to hear the President speak before I vote,” said Strange, a standout volleyball player for the Lady Cavaliers.
The parking lot at the CLC began filling up early Thursday morning and by 1 p.m. only a few spots remained in the cavernous parking lot. The main driving lanes were lined with vendors hawking a wide array of Trump-oriented items from red, white and blue scarves to “Make America Great Again” hats and blankets.
The gathering seemed undeterred by the mid-40-degree temperatures and slight drizzle that fell until well after one.
