Boris Johnson and Andrew Marr in fiery clash over NHS

Activists from the Stop Trump Coalition will take to the streets of London to send a powerful message to the US President that the NHS should be strictly off the table in any post-Brexit trade deal negotiations. Their action comes after Jeremy Corbyn produced leaked documents which he claimed showed Boris Johnson’s government was prepared to “sell out” the NHS in talks with Washington. The Labour leader said he obtained the details through a Freedom of Information (FOI) request but the papers were available on Reddit before he made them public.

The prime minister hit back at the socialist’s attempt to smear the Tories ahead of the election, insisting the NHS would not be included in trade negotiations.

Demonstrators will gather at Trafalgar Square today before setting off on their march at 4pm.

The coalition said the public display of concern is vital to prevent US drug firms form “muscling” their way into the NHS.

Marching down the Mall, the group are expected to arrive at Canada Gate, opposite the palace shortly before 5pm as the president makes his way to the royal dinner event.
