'Wheel of Fortune' contestant goes viral, says he's 'trapped in a loveless marriage'

One "Wheel of Fortune" contestant says he hasn't been very lucky in his family life.

Blair Davis, a recent contestant on the network game show, took an original approach to his introduction when host Pat Sajak inquired about his family.

"I've been trapped in a loveless marriage for the last 12 years to an old battle-ax named Kim," the owner of a small trucking business replied in a clip published Monday, prompting laughter from the studio audience.

"She cursed my life with three step-children named Star, R.J. and Ryan," the California native continued, adding, "And I have one rotten grandson."

The answer seemed to take Sajak by surprise.

"No wonder you came here," the host quipped. "You just wanted to get away from everybody."

Though Davis' answer seemed grim, Sajak said he knew the contestant was being "facetious."

"Absolutely," Davis replied. "I love them like nobody's business."

As it turns out, Davis seems to care a lot about his family, even growing out his long gray beard to keep his grandson happy.

"I started growing the beard a couple years back, and every time I threaten to shave it off, he gives me a really hard time," Davis said. "He's grown used to it."

Sajak fired back, “Don’t let it get tangled up in the wheel, that’s all we ask.”

Davis' intro made quite an impression on Twitter.

"Finally, someone was truthful," one user wrote, adding two laugh-crying emojis.

"Now this is an all time Wheel Of Fortune intro...." another wrote.

"Super bummed Blair didn’t win #WheelOfFortune tonight, because he had the best intro of all time," wrote another.
