ABC announced this week that it would send the show off in style with a one-hour documentary airing just before the finale.
The special will include footage going from the most recent season all the way back to the inaugural shows from 2009.
So far, the show has won an astounding 22 Emmys, including five consecutive honors for Outstanding Comedy Series.
Now that shooting for Modern Family is finished, Ariel has had plenty of down time to social distance at home following California Governor Gavin Newsom's shelter-in-place order on March 20.
Though she's been able to break-up the time time at home with some trips for essential services, she's also found ways to occupy herself around the house.

Special discovery: Ariel found a novel way to break up the shelter-at-home boredom when she discovered a massive cardboard cut-out of her head while cleaning
Earlier this month, she posted a funny video of herself after she uncovered a massive cardboard cut-out of her head.
'Quarantine cleaning really unearths things you hate as well as great ideas for entertainment,' she wrote.
The accompanying video showed the film and TV actress going to town on the flat head with a baseball bat.
As a friend tossed it in the air, she swung with the bat as if it were a piñata.
