Clay County man, 60, strikes gold in Florida Lottery scratch-off

A 60-year-old Green Cove Springs man hit pay dirt in the $5,000,000 Gold Rush Classic scratch-off game winning a million-dollar prize, the Florida Lottery announced Tuesday.
Terry Marcum purchased winn$20 ticket from the 3210 U.S. 17 Gate station in Orange Park. He chose to receive his winnings in a lump-sum payment of $710,000, the Lottery said.
The $5,000,000 Gold Rush Classic launched in October 2018 and features 30 $1 million prizes, four of which remain, according to the Lottery website.
