John Robert Norris II, 53, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away, Friday, Nov. 6, 2020, at his home.

Born August 1, 1967 in Hagerstown, he was the son of Mary J. (Hawbaker) Brindle of Sharpsburg, Md., and the late, John R. Norris.

In addition to his father he also was preceded in death by, his maternal grandparents, Mildred Snyder, Kenneth and June Hawbaker; paternal grandparents, Robert and Clara Norris; an uncle, Allan Norris and two aunts, Brenda Thomas and Martha Godlove. John was a stone and brick mason and had worked for Gruber Latimer Restoration in Williamsport.

He was an avid outdoors man and loved to hunt and fish and loved to go watch his nephew Codey race his street stock race car at Hagerstown and Winchester Raceways. In addition to his mother he also is survived by two sons, Brandon Norris and wife, Dana, Dylan Durboraw; one daughter, Savannah Norris; three brothers, Donald Norris, Dave Norris and Gary Breeden; five sisters, Mildred Myers, Alice Breeden, Cristy Breeden, Ginger and Kim Barnhart; one aunt, Catherine Hawbaker; two uncles, Leon and James Towns and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, November 13, 2020, at 11:00 A.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Rev. Mark Mooney officiating.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 P.M. Due to the current Covid 19 restrictions, 60 people will be allowed in the funeral home at one time, facial coverings and social distancing is required.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to Rest Haven Funeral Home to offset funeral costs.
