Warby Parker Opens Up At Washington Square

This will be the trend-forward eyeglass outlet's second location in Oregon

A glimpse inside the new Warby Parker location.

Let’s be real: contacts are out. No one wants to deal with them when you’re working from home, and nothing gives you that erudite edge more than a chic pair of glasses. So, the myopic babes of Portland can rejoice because Warby Parker is opening a new location in Washington Square this Saturday. It's the direct-to-consumer eyeglass chain's second Oregon spot, after their NW Portland outlet, which is the only eyeglass store we know of that is also an arcade. This new spot is much bigger, and done up in Warby Parker’s signature aesthetic, like a sleek technicolor library where no one actually reads the books.

And even if, like me, you’re cursed with 20/20 vision, you can still drop by their location to see new splashy, ultra-playful artwork from Portland-native Lisa Congden. (You can even snag a limited-edition poster of her artwork, but on opening weekend only.)

But, if you’re still worried about germs (who isn’t), you can always try their glasses at home (cozy) or virtually (futuristic!)

The store is open for business starting Saturday at 9640 SW Washington Square Rd, Space #G11.
