Peggy Gallek joined the Fox 8 News team in September 2012 as an I-Team Reporter.
In October 2014, I got married!! I now live in Summit County with my husband and two cats, Cupcake and Felix.
Before coming to Cleveland, Peggy
was a reporter at WKBN in Youngstown and began working as a newspaper reporter with the Hubbard News, a weekly publication, in 1989.
In 1990, Peggy started with the Vindicator in Youngstown. She worked there until 2005 when she went to broadcast, at WYTV 33. In 2007, the station was bought by WKBN and Peggy worked for both WYTV, WKBN.
Peggy has won several state awards, including two regional Edward R. Murrow awards.
She was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio.
