Man killed in home invasion robbery in Memphis

Police on Monday night were investigating a fatal shooting during a home invasion robbery south of the Fox Meadows area.

Preliminary information indicates that a 24-year-old man was killed in the shooting that was reported at 8:02 p.m., police spokesman Louis Brownlee said.

The shooting was in the 3700 block of Maple Leaf Drive.

Police had made no arrests in the city's 93rd homicide of the year by late Monday.
