Blazers Were a Street Style Hit at Shanghai Fashion Week

The Spring 2020 shows might have wrapped in New York, London, Milan and Paris, but Fashion Month is still going strong across the globe — specifically in China, where Shanghai just held its own fashion week.

Over the past six years, Shanghai has become a top fashion destination, which attracts local industry giants and emerging talents from all over the world. And while the runways have proven to be a hotbed of innovation, the ensembles spotted outside of the shows were equally inspiring.

One particular garment we saw repeatedly on the streets was the boxy, oversized blazer. The best-dressed guests paired the loose topper with everything from baggy pants and sneakers for a laid-back sporty look to flared trousers and loafers for a more polished outfit. Judging by its ubiquity on the Shanghai streets, we're betting we continue to see this between-seasons jacket as the fashion pack continues their tour of east Asia — next stop Seoul!
