Two firefighters hurt in Manchester, N.H. fire

MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — Fire officials in New Hampshire said two firefighters were injured battling a large fire that swept through two buildings in Manchester.

Manchester fire officials told WMUR-TV (http://bit.ly/1JFMObE) that the fire started on a rear porch of one of the buildings. The cause of the blaze is unknown.

The building next door to the house where the fire started was heavily damaged and other buildings in the neighborhood received some damage, as well.

Police are asking people to avoid the area. Streets are blocked off in all directions surrounding the fire scene.
