Vote now for the Northeastern South Dakota high school athlete of the week, October 11

Voting is now open for the Aberdeen American News Athlete of the Week. Readers can now vote for their favorite high school athletes of the week on their computer or the aberdeennews.com mobile web through the form posted.

The deadline for voting is at Wednesday at 5 p.m. Votes by email will not be selected.

The Athlete of the Week voting occurs each week during high school sports competition and recognizes athletes across all sports. You do not have to be a subscriber to vote.

This week's nominees include Shayna Heitmann (Faulkton Area), Mason Carrels (Aberdeen Roncalli), Paige Burilovich (Aberdeen Central), and Zach Wood (Warner).
