HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — Two bills dealing with police reform are now with the governor.
The legislature passed House bills 1841 and 1910. The first requires thorough background checks when hiring police officers that includes information on why they’ve left another department.
The second bill would require more training on the use of force, bias, and racial and economic backgrounds.
