Atlantic recording group NEEDTOBREATHE has announced a wide array of upcoming activity, including high profile TV appearances, sold out headline dates across the country, and much more.

NEEDTOBREATHE kicked off their hot summer last week with a visit to ABC's Good Morning America, an electrifying appearance that saw the GRAMMY and Billboard Music Award-nominated rock band teaming up with singer/songwriter Gavin DeGraw for the first ever televised performance of their acclaimed new single, "Brother (Feat. Gavin DeGraw)." Following the performance, the single skyrocketed to Number 2 on the iTunes Rock Chart and climbed into the Top 20 on the Hot AC Chart. The one-of-a-kind performance is streaming now at http://abcn.ws/1GRottf.

"Brother (Feat. Gavin DeGraw)" was applauded by Entertainment Weekly upon its release earlier this year as "full, anthemic, a little bit woodsy and alarmingly catchy," adding "(frontman) Bear Rinehart's sincerity is unmistakable in his vocals, and the bluegrass backing culminates in something sweetly rich." The single the original version of which can be found on NEEDTOBREATHE's chart-topping "RIVERS IN THE WASTELAND" is available now on the iTunes Store and all DSPs. In addition, the track's companion video is streaming now at NEEDTOBREATHE's official YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/watch?v=61Wm_qlVD4Q.

NEEDTOBREATHE is set to embark on the second leg of their 2015 North American headlining tour, kicking off July 9th at San Francisco's The Masonic and then traveling through mid August (see itinerary below). Dubbed "Tour De Compadres," the aptly named trek sees NEEDTOBREATHE bringing out some of their closest musical friends as support, with special guests Switchfoot, Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors, and Colony House. A number of dates are already fully sold out, including a July 21st date at Colorado's legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre. For complete details and ticket information, please visit www.needtobreathe.com.

As if all that weren't enough, NEEDTOBREATHE is currently partnering with Shazam to host the "NEEDTOBREATHE Flyaway Sweepstakes." To enter, download and use the Shazam music application to tag "Brother (Feat. Gavin DeGraw)." One lucky winner will receive a pair of VIP tickets (and Meet & Greet) to the sold out Red Rocks Amphitheatre show along with two nights at Aloft Denver Downtown, ground transportation provided by Enterprise, and airfare provided by Southwest Airlines. "NEEDTOBREATHE Flyaway Sweepstakes" ends July 10th.

2014 marked the most extraordinary year of NEEDTOBREATHE's already brilliant career. "RIVERS IN THE WASTELAND" the South Carolina-based band's fifth studio album made a stunning chart debut upon its April release, topping Billboard's "Top Rock Albums" and "Top Alternative Albums" charts while also entering the overall SoundScan/Billboard 200 at #3. What's more, the album's stunning "Multiplied" earned NEEDTOBREATHE their first ever GRAMMY Award nomination.

"LIVE FROM THE WOODS AT FONTANEL" followed in April 2015 and instantly debuted among the top 10 on Billboard "Top Rock Albums" and "Top Alternative Albums" tallies. Recorded September 2014 at Nashville's The Woods Amphitheater at Fontanel, the double album captures NEEDTOBREATHE on stage and at their best, performing 17 fan favorites including "Washed By The Water," "Something Beautiful," "Keep Your Eyes Open," and "Multiplied."

NEEDTOBREATHE has earned acclaim and a fervent fan following by effortlessly weaving the musical and spiritual traditions of their South Carolina upbringing into classic American rock 'n' roll. Comprised of brothers Bear Rinehart (vocals, guitar) and Bo Rinehart (guitar, vocals), Seth Bolt (bass, vocals), and Josh Lovelace (keys, vocals), the band signed to Atlantic/Lava/Word Records in 2005 and quickly achieved cross-genre success via four studio albums and innumerable headline tours. In addition, NEEDTOBREATHE received wide ranging attention from the national media, highlighted by performances on such high profile TV outlets as MTV, TBS' Conan, NBC's The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, CBS' Late Show with David Letterman and CBS This Morning, and the nationally syndicated Ellen DeGeneres Show.
