This is scary... the MCU has now got twice as many platforms to grow a real life Comic Book living world. The next big team up is going to be ridiculous. This picture has never seemed so real until now...

This is as it always should have been. If only Disney had put Feige completely in charge of Marvel Creative sooner (though having an in-house streaming outlet to keep the rights centralized is also really important, too).

Whether Loeb-spawned characters will find their way to the MCU proper or not, I've made my peace with whatever happens. I just hope the story and narrative quality remains high. Just by virtue of being Feige-approved, it will probably have some interconnectedness and structure that keeps it from getting creatively stuck like the Netflix stuff did in their later seasons.

@Spock0Clock - I just want Daisy. And Fitzsimmons. And Robbie Reyes. And Daredevil. And Punisher. All played by their respective actors of course. That's all I want. Pretty please Feige?

@Vigor - If Feige announces that they've bought an actual mansion in upstate New York to serve as a filming location for the X-Men film series and a smaller-scale New Mutants streaming series, with frequent fluid cameos between them... then I will have gotten everything I asked for.

The prospect of just having the adult X-Men settle in for a casual game of mutant baseball as one of the New Mutants episodes is so close I can taste it.

@WilliamCipher - I really want Kitty Pryde to be a central POV character for the early stories. Especially as she tends to fit into the adult team moreso than the teen one, but interacts with both.

I could accept other choices (Jubilee doesn't get enough credit, honestly, and early on in the comics she was sort of the anti-Kitty in a really appealing way). And absolutely a Hogwarts feel to it in the way that it feels like a living real place with a status quo.

And unlike the Fox-Men movies, it should be quite a bit smaller and more intimate. Not dozens of nameless extras, but just a handful of students with lots of time on the streaming service to get some characterization.

@Spock0Clock - yeah that'd be special wouldn't it? Hard to say what we will get. feige showed with Spiderman that he has a propensity for changing things up when he regains rights . Truthfully if he just mimicked the 90s cartoon we would be golden. In feige we trust....

@Doomsday8888 - That's what happens when you're the one scheduling everything instead of relying on a different division to work with you. Disney in all honesty should have done this along time ago. The division among Marvel's live action media didn't make any sense.

Looking forward to it, just sad this is coming so late into the MCU. Would have been nice to have seen something like Disney+/MCU from the ground up.

Having a fully interconnected SHIELD show complete with Nick Fury, Hawkeye, Black Widow, & Mockingbird; a Journey Into Mystery style show with the Warriors Three; Luke Cage & Iron Fist movies that lead into a Heroes for Hire show; Agent Carter sowing the seeds for an Invaders movie; Inhumans having a movie that leads into an actual GoT style show with a budget to match.

Some of those things can still happen, but it still would have been nice to see the MCU have been able to do that from the start of their show creations, instead of having a mini civil war within the company. Whelp better late then never.

Why'd you say that name? Cinematic art? Why'd you say that name?

Anyways, this isn't something we don't already know but it's good to get that confirmation. After all, we'll need spider-man to lawyer up with She-Hulk and Charlie cox Devil in Spider-Man 3

What a time we live in aye. Since agents of shield came out, I could only imagine a live action X-men show in my head, then last year the rights for X-men came back to marvel studios and now we have the Disney plus platform, and now I have no doubt that in the next 5 years there will comic accurate representation of the X-men characters in the MCU and represented in a TV show format.
I cannot wait

@Ace101 - it's all coming together so well. I've never seen anything in my life come together this well. Most things happen by accident or as a byproduct of something else, you know? But for something where you know there are geniuses with great creative vision behind this, pushing along and making the right deals... It's kind of a marvel
