Bruno continued:  'It'd make her look accessible and funny - it'd be brilliant. Meghan, if you’re watching this, please! We'd love you to do it.'

The reality competition series is filmed in Meghan and Harry's new hometown of Los Angeles, so it wouldn't be much of a commute for the couple.

Bruno has insisted that the show's 15th anniversary series will go ahead this year as planned, even if it means a reduced studio audience due to coronavirus.

While Meghan does perhaps have more exciting offers on the table - she recently narrated the Disney film Elephant - she is no stranger to reality television competitions.

In 2006, Meghan made her debut in the TV competition world, appearing as one of the Briefcase Models during Season two of NBC's Deal or No Deal.

The Duchess of Sussex first stood beside Briefcase #11 for two episodes before moving up to Briefcase #24.
