Bold and the Beautiful

Hope has been devastated since the loss of her baby girl and hasn’t been taking efforts to make her feel better very well. Now, after Sally’s attempt backfired in a big way, she will continue trying to cheer the other woman up on the Friday, Jan. 18 episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful.”

Though Hope (Annika Noelle) wasn’t up for visitors at all, Wyatt (Darin Brooks) and Sally (Courtney Hope) still stopped by on the CBS soap. Hope became even more upset when she reminisced with Wyatt over their own lost baby a few years before and retreated to her bedroom. Sally then arrived with a puppy she tried to give to Hope as a coping mechanism—but the move backfired when Hope misinterpreted the gesture as Sally trying to suggest she replace her daughter with a dog.

Now, as Sally tries to fix the situation and defuse it, she could wind up making things worse, as Hope continues to lash out at the other woman and accuses her of being insensitive to her pain.

Wyatt and Liam (Scott Clifton) will likely also hop in to try and resolve things between the women, but it may not be enough to keep Hope from becoming entirely inconsolable—and she could lash out even further at her husband when Wyatt and Sally leave.

If Hope can’t move past her pain, it could lead to more problems for her marriage as time continues on.

“The Bold and the Beautiful” airs weekdays at 1:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
