A spruce fresh from New Jersey has been delivered to Vice President Mike Pence’s residence, where it will be part of the décor for the 2019 holiday season.

The tree comes from Wyckoff’s Christmas Tree Farm in White Township, which announced Monday’s delivery on social media.

The Wyckoff’s spruce was selected in August as a reserve champion tree in the National Christmas Tree Association’s 2019 tree and wreath contest, which also selected winners for 2020. Reserve champions go to the vice president’s residence while grand champions go to the White House. The 2019 grand champion was a Douglas fir from Mahantongo Valley Farms in Pitman, Pennsylvania.

The Wyckoff family’s 170-acre farm has been in business for more than 50 years, and its trees have had a place in Washington, D.C., before. The farm supplied White House Christmas trees in 2013.

The farm also made headlines in 2016 when it began offering real Christmas trees in different colors, like purple, silver, pink and blue.
