Officers arrest 4 on meth charges in pharmacy parking lot

GUNTERSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - Marshall County Officers arrested four people in the parking lot of a pharmacy on meth charges while they were possibly attempting to purchase more pseudo ephedrine to make more.
Officers found a large meth lab along with chemicals needed to cook meth inside a vehicle in Guntersville. Investigators also found finished meth product and a pistol.
"Well, we had one firearm and three one-pot meth labs with various precursor chemicals present which are all needed in manufacturing methamphetamine," said Deputy Heath Thomas.
Deputy Thomas says two of the meth labs were already used and they found methamphetamine and one lab was ready to be used.
27-year-old Angel Dawn Abernathy and 34-year-old Kenneth Richard Lemay of Guntersville, John Daniel Doran, 33 of New Hope, and Lisa Jean Eakin, 48 of Scottsboro were arrested.
They were each charged with Manufacturing and Possession of Precursor Chemicals. They are in the Marshall County Jail awaiting bond.
