I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here’s James Haskell is said to have made his way back to the jungle to greet his camp mate Caitlyn Jenner as she was voted off the show on Friday Night.
The 34 year old former rugby union star came to the rescue after it appeared that none of Caitlyn's friends or family had made it to greet 70 year old Caitlyn as she crossed the bridge and left the jungle.
Fans were left heartbroken when no one was filmed meeting Caitlyn at the other end of the bridge and shared their shock on Twitter.
“can’t believe caitlyn Jenner has that many children and grandchildren and not one of them met her at the end of the bridge I’m gutted,” one wrote. [sic]
While another added: “The fact no one went to support Caitlyn Jenner at the end of I’m a celeb is disgusting. The Kardashian’s are fake as f**k”. [sic]
And a third said: “nobody waiting at the end of the bridge for caitlyn jenner when she left the jungle has me BAWLING what a lovely woman my heart is broken #ImACeleb”. [sic]
But, a source has since told the MailOnline James went to meet the former Olympian to “make sure she had someone there”.
The eyewitness said: “James met Caitlyn when she came over the bridge and sat with her for the entire leaving process.
“Caitlin walked over the bridge, exclaimed to James 'it’s you!'. They embraced, both were welling up.
“James accompanied Caitlin throughout the entire eviction process and then when it was over they went for a Starbucks together to talk about the show and life in general. There’s a definite real friendship there.”
Shortly after her jungle departure, Caitlyn went to the The Palazzo Versace hotel, where she was later surprised by her close friend Sophia Hutchins, 23.
Sharing her delight at the surprise on her Instagram, Catilyn shared a video of the two of them.
Speaking in the clip, Caitlyn said: “Just got out of the jungle and actually getting hair and makeup done which boy do I need it – haven’t had it in weeks!
“But, when I came out of the jungle, a lot of friends there but I had a big surprise when I got to the hotel… Sophia’s here! Yay!”
She then pans the camera around the show Sophia is with her wearing a matching blue robe at The Palazzo Versace hotel on the Gold Coast.
