WESTLAKE, Ohio -- Detectives are trying to identify two women wanted in a theft of approximately $5,000 in perfume from a Westlake beauty shop near Crocker Park.
Surveillance images released Monday show two women sought in the Jan. 12 theft at Ulta Beauty on Crocker Road near Detroit Road, the Westlake Police Department said in a news release.
The two women came into the store about 5 p.m. One of them took a reusable bag from a rack near the entrance. They walked over to a display of expensive perfumes and put them in the bag, police said.
The two women were in the store for roughly four minutes before they left without paying for the items they put in the bag, police said. They left in a white car, but detectives did not specify the make or model.
Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call Westlake police at 440-871-3311.
