FBI offers $5,000 reward for information in 2013 cold case

The FBI is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in a 2013 unsolved homicide.

The body of Caldwell Dewyne Smith was found Sept. 15, 2013, in Shonto, Arizona, on the Navajo Reservation, authorities say. 

The cause of death was a "penetrating wound" from a weapon, said FBI spokesperson Jill McCabe.

The FBI is not releasing many details to protect the integrity of the investigation, McCabe said.
