After 204 days, MSPCA-Angell is looking for adopters for ‘love bug’ puppy

A 1-year-old dog is looking for a home, MSPCA-Angell said.

Ellie, a Pit Bull Terrier mix, has been at the shelter since May 5 — that’s 204 days.

“We need your help to find her a loving home...which shouldn’t be too difficult since she’s such a love bug!” the animal non-profit said.

Ellie is currently living with her foster father who said she loves to snuggle, could do without the rain and is always interested in an outdoor adventure. Like most young dogs, she has a lot of energy, MSPCA noted, so she enjoys playtime but is equally happy to cuddle on the couch.

“When she sees her favorite people, she zooms around in excitement and then physically melts her body into yours and demands affection! In her foster home she’s also learned a lot about coexisting with cats, but she’d prefer to be your one and only dog,” the shelter wrote.

Those interested in adopting the adorable pup can visit neas.org/adopt. If you cannot adopt, but want to help Ellie find a home, MSPCA asks that people share their Facebook post.
