ROHNERT PARK — Coming off a fourth-place finish a week earlier at the Lady Lions Tournament, Middletown High School’s Jayde Miles won all four of her matches Saturday at the Rancho Cotate Girls Wrestling Tournament in Rohnert Park.

Miles, a sophomore, won the 126-pound weight class with two pins, a win by medical default (opponent hurt on a takedown and unable to continue) and a forfeit victory. She is now 5-2 on the season.

“This was the first year of the Rancho Tournament and I was impressed with the turnout,” Middletown wrestling head coach Brian Hunt said.

Middletown’s girls are off until until until Dec. 14 when they compete in Yuba City. Middletown’s boys are participating in two tournaments this coming weekend. The veterans head to Orland for the Doc Peterson Tournament on Saturday while the novice wrestlers participate in the Coastal Mountain Conference Novice Tournament on Friday and Saturday in Lower Lake.
