Rosalia man dies in vehicle crash near Tekoa

A Rosalia man was killed Friday afternoon when he lost control of his car on state Highway 27 near Tekoa, Washington.

Christopher M. Brown, 62, died at the scene, Washington State Police said in a news release, after his 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier left the roadway about 2 miles north of Tekoa and came to rest in a ditch.

Brown, who was wearing his seat belt, was driving north when he failed to negotiate a turn in the road around 11:30 a.m., WSP said.
