QuakeCon 2019 Registration Opens Next Week

by Rainier on April 2, 2019 @ 10:00 a.m. PDT

QuakeCon is the ultimate video game festival and party. QuakeCon is open to the public and attendance is FREE thanks to the support of id Software, Bethesda Softworks, the QuakeCon volunteer staff, and the event sponsors/exhibitors.

QuakeCon will return to the prestigious Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center in 2019, inviting thousands of gamers worldwide to participate in the annual four-day video game festival.

QuakeCon is free for general attendees and open to the public. This year’s event will offer diverse activities for all, including those who choose not to bring their own computer. Attendees are some of the first to see sneak peeks of Bethesda’s upcoming titles and announcements, while also attending a wide array of panels, presentations, tournaments, workshops and exhibits from leading tech companies showcasing the newest gaming accessories and hardware.

QuakeCon 2019 is DOOMED.

In honor of 25 brutal years of id Software’s venerable franchise, DOOM, this year’s QuakeCon will be jam-packed with hellish activities and events that look back at a quarter century of demon-stomping and look forward at what’s to come with DOOM Eternal.

QuakeCon: Year of DOOM will still bring diehard fans the QuakeCon experience they’ve come to love, with the massive BYOC, exclusive panels, and hands-on with games from Bethesda and more. Of course, fans can also look forward to fun things to do with friends, from parties to esports tournaments to Master Pancake Theater.

Bethesda announced that registration for QuakeCon: Year of DOOM opens at Thursday, April 11 at 10 ET. Check out the newly revamped website and get ready to be one of the lucky people to experience this once-in-a-lifetime celebration.

This year, the registration process will be slightly different from years past – BYOC players will not choose a seat when they register. Seat selection will take place at a later date which will be announced soon.

QuakeCon: Year of DOOM will take place July 25-28 at the Gaylord Texan Resort in Dallas, TX.

QuakeCon welcomes exhibitors and sponsors to showcase their games, hardware and services. For more information on how to get involved, please email sponsor@quakecon.org or visit here.

Founded in 1996, QuakeCon has grown to be one of the most distinguished festivals in gaming.
