Indiana County man dead after crash on Route 119, coroner says

WHITE TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WJAC) — Authorities say an Indiana County man is dead following a crash Wednesday.

According to Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees, Ronald Shearer was backing his vehicle out onto Route 119 in White Township when his vehicle was struck by a tow truck.

Shearer was taken to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 10:50 a.m., Lees says.

Lees says Shearer was not wearing a seatbelt.

State police are continuing to investigate.
