Joohee Sul, MD

Dr. Sul received her medical degree and residency training at the University of Rochester. She is a board certified neurologist who completed a fellowship in neuro-oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. She was recruited to the University of Rochester in 2007, where she has joint appointments in the department of neurology and oncology. She currently sees patients at the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center at Strong Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Sul’s practice includes the care of patients with primary brain and spinal cord tumors as well as metastatic tumors. She also sees patients with neurological complications from cancer and cancer treatments such as seizures, headaches, muscle diseases, neuropathy and paraneoplastic syndromes. She has a special interest in studying ways to improve quality of life and outcomes for patients with cancer.
