Audi is known for vehicles with four wheels, but for the last three years, they've shifted their focus to transportation on two wheels at Christmas time.

"Not every kid has a bike, and for me, it was always fun growing up with a bike. So I just thought hey let's help these kids out, get them a bike, get them outside and away from the TV and get some exercise," Chad Kemmish, General Manager at Audi of Lexington, said.

Kemmish partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters to help them identify kids in need.

For many of them, these bikes have become the gift that keeps on giving year-round.

"A lot of these kids use their bikes to get to sporting events and school because it's their only means of transportation," Kemmish said.

Last year they were able to provide bikes to 200 kids. They're hoping to top that number this year, but they still need help to make that happen.

Kemmish says donations are coming in a little slower than usual, they're hoping to receive another 40 bikes by next Saturday, December 16th to reach their goal.

"You can bring cash donations, and we'll go out and purchase the bikes, they can order bikes online and have them delivered here, or they can bring us bikes that they've purchased. We bought the first 75 bikes, and after we get 75 donations we'll start matching bike for bike that is donated," he said.

While they are accepting bikes of all shapes and sizes, Kemmish says they need 24 and 26-inch bikes for both boys and girls the most right now.

The bikes will be given out on Saturday, December 16th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Audi of Lexington in Hamburg.
