Resident believes solicitor may have stolen jewelry from inside home: North Ridgeville Police Blotter

NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio

Theft, Tree Moss Lane

On June 23m a resident reported that she was missing a three-piece jewelry set. She said the last day she saw the set was the same day a solicitor was inside the residence.

Theft, Center Ridge Road

On June 19, management at Mr. Hero reported that the store was missing half of a bank deposit made by a store employee. The employee said she made the deposit.

Scam, Greenview Avenue

On June 28, a woman reported that she had received a telephone call that was a scam. The caller was able to gain access to her credit cards.

Theft, Lorain Road

On June 22, a woman reported that her phone had been stolen at Burger King.

Theft, Willowbrook Lane

On June 17, a resident reported several pieces of jewelry missing from a jewelry box. The last time the jewelry was accounted for was August 2018.

Drunken driving, Root Road

On June 22, a pickup truck was stopped after officers watched the driver swerve outside the lane. While speaking with the driver, officers noticed signs of impairment. Field sobriety tests were administered, and a 25-year-old woman from Elyria was arrested.
