South Texas Goodwill stores and donation stations are among the many locations reopening on Friday.

Goodwill locations in Flour Bluff and Annaville, and on Corpus Christi's southside will reopen at 25 percent capacity with temporary hours from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., according a press release from Goodwill Industries of South Texas.

Donations stations at Alameda Street, McArdle Road, Port Ave, Weber Road, Del Mar Distributing, Padre Island Drive and Kingsville will also reopen.

Caller-Times File Photo Goodwill is one of three organizations receiving funds from Texas Veterans Commission.

The stores will practice safety precautions, including contact-less donation drop-offs, the release said.

Goodwill encourages donors to bag or box donations, drop off or allow attendants to unload donations and maintain a 6-foot social distance. Attendants will place a receipt on the windshield of a vehicle.

In stores, employees will maintain a 6-foot distance from customers and disinfect cart handles and other high-touch areas, said the release.

More stores will open after staff is trained and prepped for social distancing.
