Police asking for information on Gwinnett County identity theft

Gwinnett County Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects related to identity thefts.

Since January, the victim of the identity theft received calls from numerous retailers saying her identity had been stolen, officials said.

Officers said there have been charges on the victims account in Buford, Stone Mountain, Duluth, Atlanta, Snellville, as well as cities in Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Florida.

The victim said existing accounts were fraudulently used and new accounts had been opened fraudulently.

Crime Stoppers tipsters can receive a cash reward for information leading to arrest and indictment.
