BUFORD, GA -- Gwinnett Police need the public’s help in identifying two people related to an identity theft case.

On Jan. 26 a woman reported that her identity had been stolen and there had been several fraudulent transactions made at stores in the area and online. She said numerous retailers had been contacting her about her identity being used for purchases. She found that existing accounts had been fraudulently used and also new accounts had been fraudulently opened.

Further investigation revealed that there have been fraudulent charges in Buford; Stone Mountain; Duluth; Atlanta; Snellville; Memphis, Tennessee; Destin, Florida; Chalmette, Louisiana; Slidell, Louisiana; and Gulf Port, Mississippi.
