A deal struck last month will enable Andrew Wommack Ministries to relocate its corporate headquarters and television studio from Colorado Springs to Woodland Park, build housing for its Bible school, and broaden its evangelical Christian outreach.
The organization struck a deal last month with Sturman Industries to lease, with the intent to purchase, 336 acres adjacent to its Charis Bible College.
“We’re in a period of real structured growth,” said Wommack CEO Paul Milligan. “This gives us the ability to spread out. We’ve run out of space pretty quickly.”
The property is off Trout Creek Road on the outskirts of Woodland Park. The expansion will bring Andrew Wommack Ministries’ campus, called The Sanctuary, to nearly 500 acres.
Wommack’s operation has grown about 60 percent in the past three years, Milligan said.
“We’ve really accelerated, mainly to do with the way we’ve changed exposing Andrew to the world, not just through TV,” he said. “His message is being accepted around the world.”
Wommack moved the ministry to Colorado Springs in 1980 from Texas and now broadcasts his “Gospel Truth” radio and television program worldwide.
