CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Boston Market has officially entered the ongoing fast-food chicken sandwich wars.
The fast-casual restaurant’s Nashville Hot Crispy Chicken Sandwich debuted this week. The sandwich features a crispy chicken breast with a smoky Nashville Hot sauce that’s topped off with pickles and ranch dressing on a brioche bun. The item is part of the chain’s new Nashville Hot Chicken-inspired menu.
“With this new menu, we wanted to introduce Music City’s legendary hot sauce flavor to all of our guests across the country, and there’s no better way to do that than alongside our legendary rotisserie chicken and a crispy chicken sandwich that will quickly become the best thing our guests (and probably our competitors) will have ever tasted,” said Boston Market president Randy Miller in a press release. “Our Nashville Hot Crispy Chicken Sandwich is no doubt the best sandwich out there today, and we challenge everyone to put it to the taste – a taste test, of course.”
In addition to the sandwich, the new menu, available for a limited time, features a Nashville Hot rotisserie chicken meal and a Nashville Hot crispy chicken meal. Each item features Boston Market’s smoky Nashville Hot sauce, a mix of cayenne pepper, chili powder, sugar, garlic and secret spices.

The fast-food chain is the third since the start of 2021 to unveil a new chicken sandwich to compete with the likes of Popeyes and Chick-fil-A, joining McDonald’s and Shake Shack.
