COLUMBUS, OH — Health officials have confirmed more than 153,000 cases of COVID-19 among Ohioans since the start of the pandemic.

On Wednesday, the Ohio Department of Health confirmed 1,080 new cases of COVID-19 among Ohioans. That's up slightly versus the state's three-week average of 1,001 new cases per day.

Ohio's other key COVID-19 metrics held steady on Wednesday.

The state health department confirmed 21 new deaths related to COVID-19. That's down slightly versus the state's three-week average of 23 COVID-19 deaths per day.
