So get ready for holiday shopping, because Shu Uemura's holiday collection is definitely going to be one of the most highly-anticipated launches of the season.
The Japanese beauty brand just announced its upcoming holiday collection featuring popular Japanese anime and manga series One Piece, and it looks like the perfect addition to any holiday wishlist. The brand shared the news on September 21 in an Instagram post, writing, "Make your holidays an adventure with the limited edition Shu Uemura ONE PIECE makeup collection!"

@beautynewsofficial also shared pics of what to expect from the line, including two 10-shade eyeshadow palettes featuring jewel tones like turquoise and navy and warm hues like burgundy, and gold, all inspired by the manga series and its characters. The brand's cult-favorite cleansing oil will come packaged in limited edition One Piece designs, as will its Petal Foundation brush and iconic Eyelash Curler.
As for lips, Shu and One Piece collaborated on nine gorgeous shades in the red family, from orange-toned shades to a deep maroon. Everything in the collection is truly gorgeous and perfect for any adventure, not just swashbuckling pirate adventures on the high seas. Anime collabs have been popular as of late; Uniqlo recently collaborated with Demon Slayer for a line of graphic tees and lest we forget ColourPop and Sailor Moon's joint venture.
Shu Uemura, for its part, has previously launched collections inspired by everything from Pokémon to pop artist Takashi Murakami to Super Mario Bros. Considering that One Piece the TV series has been around since 1999 (the manga launched in 1997) and is one of the most popular and influential anime series in the world, it's about time a makeup line brought it to life via eyeshadows, lipsticks, and more!
Nylon Singapore reports the Shu Uemura x One Piece collection launches on October 29, though no firm details have been announced regarding a United States release. We'd keep your eye on the Shu Uemura Instagram just to be safe because we have a feeling this epic collection is going to sell out faster than you can say "Straw Hat Luffy."
