Through October: Winking Lizard Tavern has partnered with Duvel and the Cleveland Institute of Art to release this year’s newest art glass. It's the fourth consecutive year the Winking Lizard has participated in the collaboration. Guests who purchase a tour booklet and three Duvel beers will receive a glass designed by CIA graduate Kevin Zapata-Rubio.

Monday, Oct. 7: During Cleveland Browns games, Southern Tier Brewing Co. will hold an all-day happy hour with $5 drafts. The Browns play at San Francisco in this week's Monday Night Football game. It's at 811 Prospect Ave., Cleveland.

Monday Oct. 7: Margaritaville will hold a Monday Night Football viewing party for the Cleveland Browns-San Francisco 49ers game at 8:15 p.m. Specials include $3 Landshark Lager drafts. It's at 1150 Front Ave., Cleveland.

Thursday, Oct. 10: Nano Brew Cleveland holds its 7th Annual Parade of Pumpkins at 4:30 p.m. All the pumpkin beers are brewed in the tiny 1-barrel brewhouse. Today: Red Pumpkin Ale, 6.3% alcohol. The folks at the brewery say the beer starts as "a traditional pumpkin beer but with a blast of red barley malt to bring out warm flavors of caramel, raisins, and hints of coffee. Rich and sweet." It's at 1859 W. 25th St., Cleveland.

Thursday, Oct. 10: Pinstripes will hold a four-course beer dinner at 7 p.m. Dishes will be paired with beers from Fat Head's Brewery in Middleburg Heights. It's in the Pinecrest development at the northeast corner of I-271 and Harvard Road, Orange Village.

Friday, Oct. 11: Saucy Brew Works will release Three Hos, an amber Christmas Ale, at 11 a.m. Event includes giveaways, specials, games, samples, more. It's at 2885 Detroit Ave., Cleveland.

People are encouraged to bring old beer-related items for appraisal or to sell noon-3 p.m. It's put on by the Brewery Collectibles Club of America's Lake Erie chapter. Saturday, Oct. 12: Platform Beer Co. will hold Holiday Donut Cookie Festive Bash at 10 a.m. The ale is a collaboration with Brewnuts and made with sweet milk sugar, vanilla and spice, and inspired by homemade snickerdoodle cookies. Saturday, Oct. 12: Thirsty Dog East Bank will hold a 12 Dogs of Christmas Tapping Party. It's billed as kid-friendly, and pooches are welcome on the patio. All food collected will be donated to North Olmsted Oxcart Food Pantry. A dozen pumpkin beers and ciders will be served. The event is cash-only, rain or shine under the tent. Saturday, Oct. 19: Two sessions of Fat Head’s Celebration of the Hop festival are set for noon-3 p.m. and 4-7 p.m. with 20-plus local and regional guest breweries. Monday, Oct. 21: Fat Head's Brewery will host Fat Head's and Jameson 2019 Drinking Buddies release party 4-10 p.m. Tasting sessions are 6, 7 and 8 p.m. and cost $25 each. Fat Head's made two beers with Jameson Whiskey that will be released during Cleveland Beer Week and available only at Fat Head's. Reserve a spot online. Wednesday, Oct. 23: Columbus Brewing Bodhifest will be held at Rozi's Wine House (5-8 p.m.), Deagan's Kitchen and Bar (7-close) and Buckeye Beer Engine (7-close). Several Bodhi variants will be poured at the pay-by-the-glass event. Rozi's is at 14900 Detroit Ave., Lakewood.

Monday, Nov. 4: Cuyahoga Community College is offering an introductory community-education course on the science of beer making. The hands-on course will provide tips on how to start a home-brewing operation. Today's first class is followed by Nov. 18, Nov. 25 and Dec. 2. It's at Corporate College East, 4400 Richmond Road, Warrensville Heights. Cost is $149.

Thursday, Nov. 21: Great Lakes Brewing Co. will hold Hop College: Style Analysis - Holiday Beers at 6:30 p.m. Learn about complementing dishes with the right beer style. Cicerone-certified staff will guide the lesson. Chef Dan Racco will lead a food tasting. Includes Hop College-branded tulip glass and 10% off a brewpub food order or gift-shop purchase on day of class. Cost is $40.
