Garrett Yrigoyen Breaks His Silence After Becca Kufrin Split

In case you were wondering what happened to Garrett Yrigoyen, well, he found love again! Garrett Yrigoyen has been silent since he split from ex-fiancée Becca Kufrin. It's understandable since The Bachelorette alums had a bit of a complicated breakup. He openly voiced his support for police officers amid the George Floyd protests, which was something that Becca disagreed with. So, he hasn't exactly been forthcoming in the six months since their relationship ended, but he recently decided to ~finally~ answer a fan question about his and Becca's split.
In an Instagram Q&A, he replied to a fan asking what led to the breakup:
"I constantly get asked this question. I know most of my supporters are viewers of the show and are the main base of my platform. I understand everyone wanting to know what exactly happened because you feel so invested into our lives and relationships. I truly don’t want to be known for the show. It’s not what defines me or my character.”
He added that “it was a miracle [he] got selected” to be on The Bachelorette and that he “wouldn’t be doing these question responses if it weren’t for that.” Mkay, that seems a little weird to say, IMO. Basically, he's really happy he did the show because now he has a lot of IG followers!
A week ago, Garrett shared a photo with his girlfriend, Alex Farrar, celebrating his birthday. "Feeling fortunate and full of gratitude! Amazing time out on the water and at dinner with great people. Thank you all for the special birthday!" he captioned the post. "Thanks @alexfarrarii for taking the time and energy to set it all up 😘⚡️"
He def seems to be over the split, so let's move on, ppl.
