We hoped to be able to get more information about EasyCare's plans from their website, but it seems the only way to get an exact breakdown of the costs is by speaking to a dealer or by calling the EasyCare customer care center.

This will depend on the type of vehicle warranty contract you choose. EasyCare's most comprehensive plan, TOTALCARE, is basically comparable to a bumper-to-bumper factory warranty, and it covers every inch of the vehicle except for things like cosmetic damages and maintenance. EasyCare's most affordable plan, POWERCARE, covers crucial parts of the powertrain and is a great plan for older vehicles with decreased resale value. Apart from EasyCare's four kinds of vehicle service contracts are add-ons such as theft protection, trip interruption, key replacement, and more.

The process of canceling your extended warranty contract with EasyCare is easy and can be done anytime, but it may take up to five business days to take effect. You can cancel your contract by talking to the dealership that sold you the plan, or the broker if you didn't get the plan from a dealership.

“I have dealt with Easy Care since 1994 (10 years after inception) as a car dealer finance director, I will NOT buy a vehicle without this coverage, neither will my friends and family. Yes, they do not cover hoses, things breaking down (not yet failed), maint. items, but they are BY FAR the BEST coverage on the market!!! They pay full retail to a certified repair shop, they pay by credit card so the payment in instant, the complaints that I read about the roadside assistance, that is not Easy Care that is a company that sublets the RSA. Make sure and ask for the Total Care contract, others are less coverage and do not cover as comprehensively. If you never have a claim and feel you "wasted" money, feel fortunate that you haven't had $16,000 in repairs as I have seen on ONE vehicle!!! I am on my 4th service contract for our 2008 Silverado, only used it twice for the same issue that reoccurred into the 3rd contract. But I am not complaining, I would rather have the peace of mind that I am not going to have a $5,000 transmission repair or $8,000 engine replacement! “They are your typical warranty company, make all the promises to get you to buy their product. Then when you actually have an issue and go to get them to cover it they reply with "oh that's not covered under the warranty". Owned my camper for less than 1 year and they didn't cover anything that I had issues with, they even tried to say that I tore the awning cover and that is why they weren't going to cover it. Right, I climbed up my camper just to rip my slide cover which has only been used 3 times since I bought the RV.
