AREA, AND SHE WILL EXPLAIN WHAT WE WILL SEE FROM NOW THROUGH THE REST OF TODAY AND WHEN THIS WILL CLEAR. RANDI: TODAY, THE WORST OF IT IS THIS MORNING. AND THE AFTERNOON, THE RAINFALL IS NOT AS HEAVY, BUT IT WILL STILL BE RAINING. IT WILL BE TOMORROW AFTERNOON BEFORE WE GET ANY BREAK. THE LAST THREE HOURS HAVE BEEN ROUGH ON PORTIONS OF NORTHERN KENTUCKY THROUGH HAMILTON COUNTY. THIS IS A THREE HOUR TIME LAPSE. WATCH THE RED INDICATING INTENSE RAINFALL RATES SLIDING UP 27 AND 177 AND THROUGH FALMOUTH, CANTON, AND ALEXANDRIA. THAT IS WHY THERE ARE FLASH FLOOD WARNING IS IN EFFECT. CAMPBELL, KENTON, AND PENDLETON COUNTY UNDER THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING UNTIL 9:15. IT DOES NOT MATTER IF IT IS A RURAL AREA OR A HIGHWAY, THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR HIGH WATER. AS WE HEAD INTO THE 275 LOOP, THE SAME THING FOR MUCH OF HAMILTON COUNTY. THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR CENTRAL AND EASTERN HAMILTON COUNTY GOES UNTIL 10:00 A.M.. YOU CAN SEE HEAVIER RAIN ON TOP OF WYOMING. YOU CAN SEE FROM WYOMING LIFTING THROUGH GLENDALE AND FOREST PARK, AND WOODLAWN LOOKING AT HEAVY RAIN AND DOWNPOURS. SLIDING NORTH OF THE 275 LOOP, ANOTHER INTENSE BAND TRAILING UP 75. YOU CAN SEE IT FROM AREAS NEAR MONRO, OUR FRIENDS AT MIDDLETOWN HAD THREE INCHES OF RAIN. THIS MAY CAUSE AREAS OF HIGH WATER THROUGH PORTIONS OF BUTLER AND WARREN COUNTIES AND MOVED TO THE NORTH. IF WE ZOOM IN, RIGHT UP SOUTH DIXIE AND 75 IN THROUGH MIDDLETOWN, YOU ARE LOOKING AT HEAVY RAIN. LET US GO THROUGH DOWN SOUTH THROUGH 275 RIGHT OUT THROUGH HEAVY TENT -- UNION, AND THEN SLIDING SOUTH OVER THE OHIO RIVER DOWN TO NEW RICHMOND DOWN THROUGH CALIFORNIA, DECENT RAINFALL AS WELL. IN THE LAST THREE HOURS YOU CAN SEE THAT TRAIL UP 27 WHERE YOU HAVE AN INCH AND A HALF OR TWO INCHES OF RAIN IN TWO HOURS ADDED ONTO THE RAIN FROM YESTERDAY. AS WE SLIDE NORTH INTO NORTHERN KENTUCKY AND INTO NORWOOD, OTHER PLACES INDICATED THREE TO 3.5 INCHES OF RAIN IN THE LAST HALF HOUR. EVERYONE TOOK A DECENT SOAKING YESTERDAY, SO FOR TODAY, PLAN ON THE POSSIBILITY OF HIGH WATER, THAT WILL BE A CONCERN THROUGH THE DAY. RIGHT NOW OVERTOP OF FORT THOMAS YOU ARE SEEING INTENSE RAIN AND A BATCH UP TOWARDS MIDDLETOWN AND PORTIONS OF CLAREMONT -- CLAREMONT AND BROWN COUNTIES. YOU HAVE BEEN ADDED TO THE AREAL FLOOD ADVISORY. IF YOUR COMMUNITY IS IN THIS BRIGHT GREEN, IT RAINED A LOT YESTERDAY AND WITH INTENSE RAINFALL YOU MAY COME UPON AREAS OF HIGH WATER. INTENSE RAIN THROUGH THE MORNING AND IT LIGHTENS UP IN INTENSITY THROUGH THE AFTERNOON BUT IT IS STILL RAINING AND IT WILL CONTINUE OVERNIGHT AND THROUGH THE EARLY MORNING WEDNESDAY. BY THE TIME WE GET TO WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON WE WILL SEE A BREAK. TODAY, BE AWARE AS YOU ARE DRIVING AROUND, HIGH WATER. TURN AROUND, DO NOT DROWN. IT COULD SWEEP YOUR CAR AWAY IF PORTIONS OF THE ROAD HAVE CRUMBLED, THAT WOULD BE A CONCERN. WE WILL WATCH THAT WITH FLASH FLOODING ONGOING. TODAY IS A WEATHER IMPACT DAY. Historic flooding is expected along the Mill Creek in the Evendale area, with flood waters expected to crest at the highest level ever.Current models show the Mill Creek will crest at 18.17 feet around noon Tuesday. Several businesses in the Evendale area will endure major flood damage as the Cincinnati area is inundated with heavy rains. Before Tuesday, the highest recorded levels were around 16.8 feet. The worst flooding will be along Mosteller, Kemper and Canal roads. As of 9:30 a.m. Tuesday -- with waters around 15.5 feet -- significant street flooding is occurring in the area.As the water levels climb, several feet of water is expected in some businesses. When water levels reach 16.5 feet, numerous roads are flooding, including Crescentville, Canal, and Sharon roads. Businesses along the creek in the Sharonville and Evendale areas incur flooding of some buildings and parking lots.Beyond that, we're in uncharted territory. But flood waters are expected to rapidly dip below flood stage into the evening hours Tuesday. In total, expect an additional 1.5 to 2.5 inches of rain today on top of yesterday's 1.75 inches. The Flash Flood Watch for the entire area continues into the evening, and the rain continues overnight.For Wednesday we wake up to, yes, more rain. The rain fades for much of the area by midday on Wednesday. In the afternoon plan on gusty winds and cloudy skies. There will be a few spotty showers lingering east of Cincinnati.Thursday plan on cloudy skies and off and on rain showers. Friday we have a few showers as warmer air works in.
